Tanzania: Helios Towers Tanzania Gets U.S.$95 Million Standard Bank Loan

Dar es Salaam — Helios Towers Tanzania (HTT) Limited, a subsidiary of Helios Towers Africa Limited, have borrowed $95 million from Standard Bank Group.

The money is for further expansion of HTT's network of telecommunications towers across Tanzania and continued investments to drive operational excellence across their portfolio. Kash Pandya, the Chief Executive Officer of HTA, said last week: "Helios Towers Africa is pleased to announce the completion of this financing package in Tanzania while we continue our growth as a successful independent tower business across Africa."
