THE OMUTHIYA Town Council threw away more than 200 bags of maize meal donated by the South African government for drought relief after condemning it as unfit for human consumption.
Some children blew the whistle after seeing two Oshikoto Regional Council trucks dumping the bags of maize meal at the dump site where they were buried by an Omuthiya Town Council excavator about 10 days ago.
