Champions APR FC defeated Bugesera FC 1-0 to retain the top spot in the National Football League yesterday at Nyamata turf, Bugesera District.
Midfielder Patrick 'Pappy' Sibomana converted the lone goal in the 54th minute to hand Nazir Khanfir's side the crucial points. During the game, Ali Bizimungu's team was reduced to 10 after forward Jihad 'Barrack' Rucogoza got matching orders after a nasty foul play against APR central defender, Emery Bayisenge.
