Rwanda: Youth to Play Part in Ending Modern Day Slavery, Crimes - IP Angelique Abijuru

In a bid to ensure a safe generation free from crimes and misconduct, police has urged students of GS Ruhango Catholique in Ruhango District, to refrain from any practices that may lead them to committing crimes. The call was made by the District Community Liaison Officer, Inspector of Police (IP) Angelique Abijuru during her meeting with over 850 students.

The students were enlightened on how crimes like trafficking in human beings is done through deceit, manipulation and empty promises of better jobs and schools abroad where they end up into modern-day slavery.
