Nigeria: Group Tackles Malaria Scourge in Alimosho

Communities in two local councils of Lagos State - Alimosho and Kosofe - were recently beneficiaries of a campaign by health organisations to stem the tide of malaria, as parts of activities held to mark the World malaria Day last week.

West-Field Development Initiative (WDI), a non-governmental organization with a mission to improve wellness and access to opportunities for disadvantaged Nigerians, organised the free medical screenings for over 500 residents.
