Reflect on this for a moment: the US Republican party has chosen, as its nominee someone who is the equivalent of former Ugandan tyrant Idi Amin.

Luckily for the United States - and the world by extension - the Uganda of the seventies, and twenty first century America are two vastly different settings or contexts. Donald Trump, the American Amin; the man US Republicans have chosen as their presidential nominee has little chance of actually winning the presidential poll. So the world gets to dodge a bullet.
