Mozambique: Malawian Govt Demands Investigation of Ambush

Maputo — The Malawian government has written to the Mozambican authorities demanding an investigation into an attack in April in which four Malawian citizens were killed, according to a report in the Malawian paper “The Nation”.

The attack occurred on 23 April when unidentified gunmen in Barue district, in the central Mozambican province of Manica, attacked a bus carrying 24 Malawians who were on their way to South Africa.
