Tunisia: Industrial Exports Post Slight Increase of 1.9 Percent

Tunis — Industrial exports have slightly grew by 1.9% at the end of April 2016, reaching 8,595 million Tunisian dinars (MTD), against 8,435 MTD at the end of April 2015, according to data released Monday by the Ministry of Industry.

Besides the rise in industrial export, the import coverage ratio has reached 78.5%, despite the expected decrease in food industry exports by half (48.3%), due to lower olive oil exports.
