Tunisia: Egyptian Military Finds Debris of Crashed Airliner

Cairo — The Egyptian military said in a statement Friday morning that it has found debris from EgyptAir Flight 804 about 180 miles off Egypt's coastline.

"Egyptian airplanes and naval vessels were able to find on Friday some passengers' belongings as well as parts of the plane debris," an army statement said.

The Airbus 320, which was flying from Paris to Cairo with 66 people on board, vanished from radar screens shortly after entering Egyptian airspace early on Thursday morning.
