Nigeria: 'Missing N30 Trillion' - Okonjo-Iweala Refutes SERAP's Claims

Abuja — The immediate-past Finance Minister, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has instructed her lawyers to take steps to set aside the judgment of a Federal High Court in Lagos ordering her to provide information on the spending of an alleged 'missing' N30 trillion accruing to the government when she was a minister.

The judgment was delivered last Friday by Justice Ibrahim Buba following a Freedom of Information (FoI) Act request in Suit number FHC/L/CS/196/2015 filed by a non-governmental organisation, Social Economic Rights Project (SERAP).
