The City of Windhoek and the Khomas Regional Council will hold annual meetings where residents and councillors can discuss matters concerning the growth of the city and the region.
Announcing the decision on Saturday in Windhoek, Khomas governor Laura McLeod-Katjirua said it is evident that there is a growing expectation from the public to participate and to be involved in holding policymakers accountable.
