Sumbe — Central Cuanza Sul province-based Recreativo do Libolo defeated Desportivo da Huíla by 1-0 on Wednesday at home, in an early game of the 15th round of the national first division football championship (Girabola), thus rising to the second position with 27 points.

Sidney scored the sole goal of the match in the 55th minute, thus securing his team three points. The competition is currently led by 1º de Agosto with 28 points, while Desportivo da Huíla remain in the seventh position with 18.
