Gambia: On the President's Birthday - Let's Cherish and Honour

On Wednesday 25th May, 2016 our dear President, His Excellency Professor Jammeh clocked 51. The celebration, held at the serene home turf of the President in Kanilia, was exciting as it was exhilarating. Because amid the banter and the warm-hearted jokes cracked during the birthday bash, the life of a towering figure who is positively shaping our country was being celebrated.

The birthday event was apt to celebrate, honour and cherish the captain of The Gambian ship. When the effort of the leader whose hand is on the tiller of our direction of travel is recognised then we can be certain that our landing as a country to the Promised Land would be smooth. It would be an understatement to say that the President is a remarkable man; from his formative years, he has served our country with dedication and commitment. Rarely has an individual served his country with humility and dignity as a President.
