Sources have disclosed to the Liberian media that the government of Liberia has released funding for the 'Lone Star' of Liberia match against the 'Sparrow Hawks' of Togo in Monrovia on June 5, 2016.
The president of the Liberia Football Association, Musa Bility has not disclosed the amount released by the government of Liberia for the game, but stated that the government through the Chief Patron of Sports Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, gave 50% of the amount needed for the Sunday game and cannot not be disclosed due to 'operational' reason.
