Kenya: Major Management Reshuffles As Telkom Kenya Enters New Phase of Development

Barely a week after Orange completed the sale of the majority stake of Telkom Kenya to Jamhuri Holdings Limited (JHL), a company owned by Helios Investors III, a fund advised by Helios Investment, Telkom Kenya has now announced the appointment of Aldo Mareuse as the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors.

"As Telkom Kenya (TK) enters a new phase of development, the Telkom Kenya Board and I are confident that Mr. Mareuse is best suited to lead the company through the transformation" said Eddy Njoroge, Chairman of Telkom Kenya's Board of Directors. "We believe that his experience and proven track record in the telecoms sector as well as his disciplined approach to finance will be invaluable to the organisation as it navigates the transition."
