Tanzania: Budget Can't Support Industrialisation

Dar es Salaam — The Government longing for industrialisation will continue to remain rhetoric as the dream is not reflected in the first budget by the fifth government budget.

Mr Zitto Kabwe, the ACT-Wazalendo party leader noted in his analysis that the government has failed, through the budget, to set clear policies which would have reinforced and directed its industrialisation desire. He noted in his analysis that the budget tabled by Finance and Planning Minister, Dr Philip Mpango, has fallen short of explaining how the government plans to realise its industrialisation drive.
