Angola: Fishing Activity Supports Many Households in Ombadja

Ondjiva — The artisanal fishing activity in the communes of Humbe, Xangongo and Naulila, Ombadja municipality, southern Cunene province, has played a key role in the self-sustaining of households.

In a report carried out by Angop on fishing production in the province, operators of such activity were unanimous in stating that the activity has played a key role in ensuring self-employment and livelihood of families, thus contributing to the reduction of hunger and poverty.
