Cameroon: Nsobati Women's Association Clocks 20

The Nsobati Women's Association now has a national bureau. The executive bureau members were commissioned into function on Sunday June 19, 2016 during a cultural event at the Nso Community Hall in Simbock, Yaounde. The installation was part of celebrations to mark the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Nsobati Women's Association on the theme "The journey, not the Destination". The celebrations took place under the Patronage of HRH the Fon of Nso, Shem Mbinglo III.

The anniversary celebrations began with a thanks giving mass at the same venue. In his homily, the Parish Pastor of the St. Peter and Paul Parish Simbock, Rev. Fr. Gilles Ngwa Forteh said the occasion was an opportunity to give thanks to God for the 20 years of existence of the association. He said the 20th anniversary celebration is an occasion for an impartial evaluation in order to chart a new course for the future.
