Kampala — The Daily Monitor allocated more space than any of eight local dailies to the coverage of the 2016 elections, an election monitoring report by the African Centre for Media Excellence (ACME) released Wednesday says.
According to the report, the newspaper accounted for 26 per cent of 4,116 election stories that were published between September 2015 and February 2016.
