Namibia: World Music Day Promises a Stormy Affair

Windhoek — A winter market at Palm Tree Park with 30 stalls, ranging from food to arts and crafts is among the attractions at this years World Music Day tomorrow/

Jazz, soul, funk, rock, electro, reggae and many other musical genres are set to be celebrated with vigorous enthusiasm and in a cheerful and festive atmosphere by both amateur and professional musicians. A total of 39 performers by upcoming and established artists are featuring throughout the day at Palm Tree Park and later in the evening at the Warehouse Theatre. The Fate of Miss H, Enchante, Formula Band, Blend, the Tschuku Tschukus, Savannah Afros, Ngatu, Priscilla Dessert Queen, are among the artists performing.
