South Africa/Botswana: 2016 Cosafa Castle Cup – Day 15 Wrap - Final

South Africa grabbed a fourth COSAFA Castle Cup title with a tense 3-2 victory over Botswana in the 2016 final played at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia on Saturday.

Gift Motupa scored two penalties for South Africa to go with a further strike from Thabiso Kutumela as coach Shakes Mashaba's side joined Zambia and Zimbabwe on four title wins each at the top of the all-time table.
It is unlucky for Botswana, who had a fine tournament but missed out on a first major trophy.
Onkabetse Makgantai and Kabelo Seakanyeng netted for Botswana as they first took the lead and then equalised at 2-2, but could not grab what would have been a famous win.
