Gambia: Court Gives 3-Year Probational Sentence to Robber

Magistrate Muhammed Krubally of the Bundung Magistrates' Court last Monday levied a three-year probational sentence on one Matarr Sallah after he pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery.

Magistrate Krubally warned that if in the next three years Sallah is brought to court, reference would be made to the case file and record would be made to his previous dealings. "He is therefore strictly warned to be a good person and refrain from evil acts."
