Nigeria: Labour Spoils for War With Okorocha

The national leadership of the Nigeria Civil Service Union, NCSU, and the Imo State branch of Association of Senior Civil Servants, are spoiling for war with the Governor Rochas Okorocha-led Imo State government over the compulsory leave slammed on the six management staff of the State Board of Internal Revenue, BIR, including the establishment's Chairman, Mr. E. I. Onunaku.

Similarly, labour is irked that the state Head of Service has equally approved the immediate redeployment of 132 officers and staff, whose grade levels range from 12 to 14, to other ministries.
