According to Sam Cheptoris, the minister for water and environment, workshops and seminars should be abolished because they are wasteful.
"I attended so many workshops when I was the district chairperson but I did not gain much, I want to advise you that instead of wasting a lot of money on workshops, why don't we provide boreholes for the people, say Karamoja community," Cheptoris said on June 24 at their head offices in Luzira as his predecessor Prof Ephraim Kamuntu officially handed over office.
