Lilongwe — Malawi could rest assured of food security if more trees were planted and economic land use employed coupled with investment in irrigated farming.
This was asserted by Dedza based award winning farmer, Keledonia Nkhonyo, having attended a "Dryland Farming Management Seminar for African Countries" in China where she had gone on month-long skill enhancement tour as awardee of 2015 MBC Innovations Awards; Agriculture category.
