Sudan: Al Bashir, UN Resident Discuss Future Opportunities for Sudan

Khartoum — The United Nations Resident and Humanitarian to Sudan, Marta Ruedas, has met with President Omar Al Bashir at the Presidential Guest House in Khartoum, to officially submit her credentials.

A UN press statement today says that the meeting, which took place on 22 June, lasted 30 minutes. President Al Bashir stated that Sudan has the full intention to cooperate with the United Nations on many fronts across the full range of the UN's responsibility.
