Former acting governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umar Fintiri, was yesterday remanded in prison custody over alleged laundering of N2.9m.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a five-count charge against Fintiri, a former speaker of the state House of Assembly, and Mayim Construction and Properties Limited.
