Ghana: Parliament to Hold Public Forum On Constitutional (Amendment) Bill, 2016

Parliament will hold a public forum on Monday July 11 on the Constitutional (Amendment) Bill, 2016 which seeks to change the date for the conduct of general elections in the country from December 7 of every election year to the first Monday of an election year.

The forum, which will be organised by the Parliamentary Select Committee on Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, will create a platform for the public to present their views on the bill.
