Lack of capacity to adapt and mitigate effects of climate change has led to continued climate vulnerability and high levels of poverty with women being mostly affected, the Vice-President, Ms Samia Suluhu Hassan, observed yesterday.
"We all witness of how the African continent is losing billions of dollars due to climate change and variability; the loss is not only in reduction of crop yields but also increased water shortages," the VP made the observation during the launch of Green Voices Tanzania.
