Kigali — African countries need to be strategic and work collaboratively in promoting industrialization to create employment opportunities and compete effectively in a globally, Dr. Ibrahim Mayaki the CEO of New partnership for African's Development (NEPAD) has said.
Addressing journalists attending the 27th African Union summit in Kigali, Dr Mayaki said that Africa should take advantage of its abundant and diverse resources including agricultural and mineral resources to exploit its comparative advantage in commodity-based industrialization and add-value to resources using its abundant human capital.
