Sixteen year old Emmaculate Chepkurui finished two seconds off Ethiopia's Kalkidan Fentie as she won silver in the women's 5000m at the World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland on Saturday evening.
The winner, Fentie arrived in Bydgoszcz with limited international experience to her name but any winner of an Ethiopian middle or long distance title - be it at U20 or senior level - should be respected heading into a global competition.
