Nigeria: Civil Defence Rescues Chained Boy From Church

Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said it has rescued a nine-year old boy, Taiwo Korede, who was chained and detained for weeks in a church premises.

A statement from PR Nigeria made available to Daily Trust said: "The official who invaded the Celestial Church of Chris Key of Joy Paris Ajiwo at Ajibawo in Ado odo OTA on Friday immediately took the emaciated boy to health centre where the chains were removed after gruelling hours to avoid hurting the victim."
