South Africa: Two to Appear for Stock Theft

Potchefstroom: Tomorrow, 25 July 2016, two suspects aged 28 and 37 are expected to appear in the Taung Magistrates' Court for stock theft.

The pair's appearance in court comes after they were arrested on Friday, 22 July 2016, when police discovered four cows at an auction held in Kuruman in the Northern Cape. The four cows were allegedly stolen in Moretele village near Pudimoe. It was established after questioning of the suspects that the cows were stolen in Moretele village, then handed to the suspects' associates in Dithakwaneng village near Vryburg to facilitate the sale in Kuruman.
