South Africa: Seven Suspects Arrested Within Hours After a Business Robbery

Port Elizabeth: Walmer Police Station arrested seven suspects aged between 16 and 28 within hours after a robbery had taken place at Madiba's Shop in Airport Valley was reported. The property taken during the robbery were also recovered.

Walmer Police Station were busy attending to the Robbery at Madiba's Shop when they received information regarding suspects involved in the robbery. Immediately the various units within the station responded to the information and headed out to a shack in Airport Valley. The shack was thoroughly searched and seven suspects were arrested. Police also seized two fire arms with ammunition , (9mm Short and a Baby Browning ), four knives, 12 cell phones, airtime to the value of R5000, an undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes, wallets and various other items which was allegedly taken during the robbery at Madiba's shop.
