Rwanda, Australia Strengthen Ties

Rwanda is set to receive investors from Australia thanks to both countries' commitment towards promoting bilateral relations. During the visit of the Victorian parliamentary delegation to Rwanda parliament, today, Bruce Atkinson, the president of the legislative council (upper house) of the State of Victoria, said Rwanda has adopted good policies in many sectors including a good investment policy.

Victoria is one of the six states and two mainland territories that that make up the country of Australia. "We shall sit with Australian Parliament and talk to industries association about what we have learned about Rwanda and what we see as investment opportunity in Rwanda, as being a stable and safe country and having good investment policy. Our people will come to look for business opportunities in Rwanda and make joint ventures with Rwandans," Hon. Atkinson said.
