Nigeria: Army Confirms Special Forces Preparing to Tackle Niger Delta Militants

Abuja — The Nigerian Army in line with the planned onslaught against the militants disrupting the oil facilities in the Niger Delta is conducting an exercise for its Special Forces for maritime warfare.

The Director of Army Public Relations (DAPR), Col. Sani Usman, in a statement on Wednesday, said that Nigerian Army will from this weekend commence another training exercise code named "Exercise Crocodile Smile" in 82 Division and part of 2 Division areas of responsibility traversing the South-South geo-political region.
