Tanzania: Coffee Growers Plea for Exemption From Multiple Charges

Moshi — Cooperatives Association, G32, has asked the government to review policies and rules to exempt farmers from unnecessary charges when selling their coffee.

The association issued the plea at its annual meeting here yesterday, arguing that farmers were not benefiting from their farm produce due to multiple charges amid the cash crop's declining prices.
