South Africa: Robben Island Results Could Be First in

Voting results from heritage site Robben Island could be the first in if everybody votes before the last ferry, an IEC official said on Wednesday.

If the 143 voters registered at the World Heritage Site all made their mark before 16:30, the ballot box would make the ferry back to the mainland in time for counting on Wednesday night, said Derrick Marco, IEC electoral operations manager at the commission's nerve centre in Cape Town.
