Algiers — Twelve people lost their lives and 38 others were injured in twenty road accidents in 16 Algerian provinces on Tuesday, National gendarmerie said Wednesday in a statement.
The province of Mascara (317 southwest of Algiers) recorded the deadliest accidents, as seven people were killed, when a driver lost control of his car at a dangerous bend, on the road section linking the province to Saida, and hit another vehicle coming from the opposite side.
