The minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Matia Kasaija, has renewed Ibrahim Kaddunabbi Lubega's contract for another five-year term as the chief executive officer of the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
According to a statement from IRA, there was tremendous achievement in the sector under Kaddunabbi's watch, where gross written premiums went up to Shs 611bn in 2015 from Shs 240bn in 2010.
