Sudan Ambassador to Chad - Relations Between Sudan and Chad Are Strategic

Ndjamena — Sudan Ambassador to Chad, Abdul-Aziz Hassan Salih affirmed that participation of President of the Republic, Field marshal Omer Al-Bashir in inauguration of President of Chad, Idris Debby comes within framework of the distinguished relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador described in a statement to SUNA relations between Sudan and Chad as strategic, referring to keenness of leaderships of the two countries to boost them in all fields.

He indicated to joint coordination and identical of views over developments in the region and the neighboring countries, saying the high will of Presidents Al-Bashir and Debby pushed the bilateral relations , referring to coordination between the two countries over all issues of mutual concern.

Ambassador Salih noted to historic and deeply rooted ties between people of the two countries and the huge reception for President Al-Bashir affirms strength of relations between Sudan and Chad.

He expressed satisfaction over level of relations between the two countries and hoped that to witness great progress in fields of economic, commercial and political cooperation, adding that arrangements are underway for establishment of Port Sudan, Abeche -Ndjamena railway.

Ambassador Salih commended the role being paied by President Debby in supporting peace in Darfur and urging armed movements to join peace process, saying Sudan appreciates that role.

"We are looking with satisfactory at experiment of the Joint Sudanese-Chadian Force in securing the joint borders and achieving stability in the area." The Ambassador further added.
