Former Director of Public Prosecution Mutembo Nchito is still fighting to win back his position with the Constitutional Court granting him a Stay of Execution after his dismissal last Tuesday by President Edgar Lungu.
President Lungu had fired Nchito on the recommendation of the tribunal that handed its report to the Head of State. Nchito had initially been on suspension with a tribunal constituted to probe him on allegations of professional misconduct.
