There appears to be no end in sight to the leadership wrangle of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after the party's national convention slated for Port Harcourt, River State, yesterday, was thwarted by policemen, ostensibly acting on the order of a court.
The convention was convened by the Senator Ahmed Markafi caretaker comittee of the party and backed by the party's other organs, the National Executive Committee (NEC), the National Working Committee and the Board of Trustees, where the party hoped to elect its national officers.
