Nigeria: Probe of Constituency Funds Timely - Deputy Whip

Benin — The Deputy Whip of the House of Representatives, Mr Pally Iriase, has said that the proposed probe of lawmakers' constituency projects fund by the federal government is timely.

He said: "I read what the minister said as regards probing lawmakers and it is a very welcome decision. It should go beyond flying the kite, it should go deep and beyond the 2014 they are talking about because, the truth is, if the probe is seriously conducted, it will unravel the truth behind constituency projects."
