The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has said humanitarian needs is escalating among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in North-east Nigeria.
The organisation noted that the Boko Haram conflict affecting the Lake Chad Basin area, particularly in North-east Nigeria, had resulted in large scale displacement and a significant protection crisis.
