South Africa: Milnerton Detective Constable Arrested for Corruption

The fight against corruption in police ranks was given a boost yesterday, 23 August 2016, when an investigation into allegations of illegal activities engaged in by a police official came to a head.

Detectives from the Western Cape Provincial Anti-Corruption Unit consequently arrested a Detective Constable. The 31 year old policeman was arrested at 07:30 whilst on duty at Milnerton SAPS. He is being detained at Cape Town Central SAPS and is due to appear in Cape Town Court tomorrow, 25 August 2016.
