Namibia: Government Engages Teachers

EDUCATION ministry officials want to engage teachers today regarding their impending strike, but the Teachers Union of Namibia said its members should not attend.

The call for engagement comes a day before teachers vote on whether to go on strike or not to pressurise government into giving in to their demand for an 8% salary increase.
