Malawi: Three Fish Farming Projects Stall in Chiradzulu

Chiradzulu — Three Fish Farming projects funded by Local Development Fund (LDF) in Traditional Authorities (T/A) Ntchema and Mpama are yet to take off in Chiradzulu following the failure of the council to procure fingerings to stock the ponds which the communities completed constructing way back in 2015.

This has happened despite the accounts department releasing the cheque amounting to around K300, 000 in 2015 for the procurement of the fingerings for Tiyanjane Fish Farming Club in T/A Ntchema and Kaponda and Limbikani Fish Farming clubs in T/A Mpama respectively.
