Zimbabwe: Botswana Leader Calls On Mugabe to Step Down

LOCAL political analysts and opposition parties have challenged other SADC leaders to join Botswana President Ian Khama in calling on President Robert Mugabe to leave office.

Khama was on Wednesday quoted by Reuters describing Mugabe's rule as having become a burden to the region as his governance style has forced millions of impoverished Zimbabweans to migrate to neighbouring countries, including Botswana, in search of greener pastures.
