Rwanda: Mininfra, Agencies Commit to Further Infrastructure Development

Firm foundations have been laid to make faster strides in infrastructure development says James Musoni, the Minister for Infrastructure.

"We have first worked on developing energy and we shall reach 40% connections to the grid and off-grid countrywide by 2016/17 fiscal year, up from the current 26%. Water access will reach 88% from the current 84.8% countrywide. And we shall be faster thereafter to reach 70% in energy and 100% in water access by 2018,"he said.
